Versions

The DHS website is tested on major browsers and operating systems. Many efforts, including code validation, were made to make this site accessible by a wide range of browsers, including screen readers. The site is developed to meet World Wide Web Consortium W3C Guidelines. DHS does not endorse a specific browser.

JavaScript

The pages on this site may use a general JavaScript statement. Pages are best viewed with JavaScript activated. In Netscape 4.0 versions, at a minimum, activate JavaScript and style sheets settings in Edit, Preferences, Advanced (as indicated in graphic below).

Cascading style sheets

The DHS site was created to optimize user experience and accessibility. Users of this site may employ their own cascading style sheets (CSS) to adjust HTML elements including, but not limited to, font, font size and color or background color.
